Diagon Alley Shops List

Below is a list of all the Diagon Alley stores that have been revealed. These are from the books, movies, Pottermore, video games, etc. Several of these were also options on the quiz that you just took.

Apothecary

Apothecary is a store where you can buy various ingredients for potions. This is where Harry Potter and his friends seemed to get most of their potions ingredients for their classes.

Eeylops Owl Emporium

Eeylops Owl Emporium is a store that sells owls and also the various supplies for taking care of them. This is the place where Hagrid purchased Hedwig for Harry Potter during his first year.

Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour

This was an ice cream shop that was owned by Florean Fortescue.

Flourish and Blotts

Flourish and Blotts is a bookstore that is located in Diagon Alley. This is where a lot of students from Hogwarts purchase their textbooks. This is also the place where Harry Potter met Gilderoy Lockhart for the first time, at his book signing that took place at the store.

Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop

Gambol and Japes is a shop that featured a wide variety of joke items and products. This is where Fred Weasley, George Weasley, and Lee Jordan buy ‘Dr Filibuster’s Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks’ from.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank

Gringotts is the Wizarding Bank that is ran by Goblins. This is where Witches and Wizards are able to store money and various items. The bank makes several appearances in the series, including being the location of one of Lord Voldemort’s horcruxes.

The Leaky Cauldron

The Leaky Cauldron is a Wizarding pub and also served as the entrance for Diagon Alley. The pub makes several appearances during the series.

After the Wizarding War, Hannah Abbott becomes the new landlady of the pub. She is known for being a member of Dumbledore’s Army and for marrying Neville Longbottom.

Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions

Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions was a store that sold clothing. This is where students at Hogwarts would get their uniforms from.

Madam Primpernelle’s Beautifying Potions

Madam Primpernelle’s Beautifying Potions is a shop that helps witches and wizards get rid of any warts (or even worse).

Magical Menagerie

Magical Menagerie is a shop where you can buy all sorts of different magical creatures and pets. This is the store where Hermione Granger purchased her cat, Crookshanks from.

Obscurus Books

Obscurus Books was a Wizarding publisher that was first introduced in the Fantastic Beasts series.

Ollivanders

Ollivanders is the wand shop that was owned by the Ollivander Family. This is where a large majority of the students from Hogwarts get their wands from.

Garrick Olivander helped Harry Potter find the right wand for him when he first came to Hogwarts.

Potage’s Cauldron Shop

This is a shop that sells cauldrons and it is owned by Madam Potage.

Quality Quidditch Supplies

This is a store that sells Quidditch supplies, including brooms and various other pieces of equipment. This is where Harry Potter saw his very first broom.

Rosa Lee Teabag

Rosa Lee Teabag was a teashop that was first mentioned in the Lego video games.

Scribbulus Writing Instruments

Scribbulus Writing Instruments was a store where you could buy things like ink, quills, and parchment paper. The store was abandoned during Harry’s later years at Hogwarts.

Second-Hand Bookshop

This is a book store that re-sells books as the name suggests. It is speculated that this is where the Weasley Family would buy their books for school.

Second-Hand Robes

This is a store that re-sells robes as the name suggests. Molly Weasley brought Ginny Weasley here to buy her Hogwarts robes during her first year at school.

Slug & Jiggers Apothecary

Slug & Jiggers Apothecary was a store where you could buy potions and the different ingredients needed for brewing them.

Sugarplum’s Sweets Shop

This was a sweets shop that sold various pieces of Wizarding candy. This includes things like Chocolate Frogs, Pumpkin Pasties, and more.

TerrorTours

TerrorTours is a travel agency that focused on adventure tourism.

The Daily Prophet’s Main Office 

The Daily Prophet’s Main Office is where the Daily Prophet Newspaper was printed.

The Ministry Press

The Ministry Press is a publishing house that printed things like Wanted posters for the Ministry of Magic.

Twilfitt and Tatting’s

Twilfitt and Tatting’s was a clothing shop for witches and wizards. It is believed to be more of a higher-end clothing store due to the Malfoy Family preferring it over Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions.

Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes

Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes is the joke shop that was started by Fred and George Weasley. It sells various items for practical jokes, fireworks, and more. After the Wizarding War, Ron Weasley helped out Geroge with running the store. This came after the passing of Fred.

Whizz Hard Books

Whizz Hard Books is a book publisher that is located in the Alley.

Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment

Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment was a store that sold random items. This includes things like telescopes, Binoculars, Crystal Balls, and more.
